OAK Annual Organic Farming Conference
January 30–31, 2026
Location: Kentucky State University – Harold R. Benson Research & Demonstration Farm, Frankfort, KY
Join hundreds of farmers, researchers, nonprofit professionals, agency partners, and food system advocates at OAK’s 15th Annual Organic Farming Conference: Cultivating Connections: Growing Organic Together for 15 Years.
The conference features two full days of learning, networking, and inspiration focused on on-farm production systems, sustainable practices, and community-driven food systems. CFA staff will be attending and participating alongside partners from across the region.
NSAC Winter Meeting & Lobby Day
February 9–12, 2026
Location: Washington, DC
Community Farm Alliance will participate in the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition (NSAC) Winter Meeting & Lobby Day, which brings together sustainable agriculture advocates from across the country.
The event includes strategy sessions, policy trainings, coalition building, and a advocacy with members of Congress and/or USDA officials. CFA will be advocating alongside farmers and partners for policies that support family-scale farming and resilient local food systems.
CFA Staff and a member will be attending to talk about issues that impact Kentucky’s Family Scale Farms.
Farmers Market Gathering
February 13, 2026
Location: Fayette County Extension Office, Lexington, KY
The Farmers Market Gathering is a one-day convening for farmers market managers, vendors, and community partners. This gathering provides space to share updates, exchange ideas, and strengthen connections among Kentucky’s farmers market leaders.
Community Farm Alliance is organizing this event to support peer learning, collaboration, and practical problem-solving for markets across the state.
AgVocacy Day
February 19, 2026
Location: Kentucky State Capitol, Frankfort, KY
AgVocacy Day is a one-day opportunity for Community Farm Alliance members to connect with legislators, share their stories, and advocate for policies that support Kentucky’s farmers, food systems, and rural communities.
This event centers farmer-led policy priorities and helps ensure that lawmakers hear directly from the people who grow and feed Kentucky.

February 27–28, 2026
Location: The Corbin Center, Corbin, KY
Calling all Appalachian agriculture enthusiasts! Join farmers, growers, and food system partners at the 2026 Eastern Kentucky Farmer Conference to learn, network, and grow together. The conference takes place Friday, February 27 and Saturday, February 28 at The Corbin Center, with optional pre-conference field visits in the London area on Friday morning.
Community Farm Alliance will be present as an organizer and exhibitor—stop by our table to connect with staff and learn more about CFA’s farmer-led programs and policy work.
