The Eastern Kentucky Food System Collaborative (EKFSC) is a network of farmers, gardeners, producers, consumers, health professionals, educators, extension agents and more who are dedicated to building, strengthening and connecting the Eastern Kentucky food system.

The EKFSC came into being in the fall of 2011, through the efforts of Community Farm Alliance, MACED and UK by hosting regional meetings to identify the assets available and resources needed to fully develop the Eastern Kentucky food system.
