KENTUCKY FLOOD RELIEF

Kentuckians all across Eastern Kentucky have lost homes and farms due to this week’s devastating floods.  8 inches of rain falling on already saturated soil from the snow and ice storms has caused local rivers to swell.  Please see below for resources and places to donate!

Family Farm Flood Relief Fund—apply today!

Family Farm Flood Relief Fund application is now live! Folks can visit www.appalachiarises.org or go directly to the application portal here. Below is a PDF for download if folks prefer filling out a form with paper and pen. Kentucky Floods Cleanup Hotline: 1-800-451-1954

If you need assistance with damage from the flooding in Kentucky, call 1-800-451-1954. The team will connect you with volunteers from local relief organizations, community groups, and faith communities who may be able to assist with cut fallen trees; drywall, flooding and appliance removal; tarping roofs; and mold mitigation. All services are free, but service is not guaranteed due to the overwhelming need. This hotline will remain open through March 26, 2021. Visit http://www.crisiscleanup.org for more info.

Southeast Kentucky Flood Relief Fund

The Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky has created the Southeast Kentucky Flood Relief Fund to help our region’s most vulnerable neighbors with relief and recovery efforts. Central Appalachian Family Farm funds are being redirected toward this flood relief.
 Donations can be made to SEKY Flood Relief at any Community Trust Bank location, mailed directly to the Foundation for Appalachian KY, 420 Main St., Hazard, KY 41701 or online here. Donors may designate a specific county or purpose if desired.

Also, When you purchase a Hell or High Water t-shirt, Read Spotted Newt will donate all proceeds to the SEKY Flood Relief Fund. To purchase and support click here.

Wild Roots will donate 100% of net profits for the “Support KY Farmers” shirt to the Central Appalachian Family Farm Fund support farmers impacted by the recent devastating flooding. This is a t-shirt PRE-ORDER that will close 3/21/21.

Red River Gorge Community Flood Disaster Support

This community fund was made to help provide food, money for temporary housing, gas, and other needs until folks can get on their feet. Money raised through this account will be gifted toward community charities and families needing direct aid. Donate to the GoFundMe here.

Estill County Emergency Management Fund

Make a tax-deductible donation here to help with cleanup from the flooding in Estill County.
